Heidi's Art Emporium

I started sewing when I was about eight years old.  I started out making a Holly Hobby doll, then lots of Barbie clothes, funky jewely, clothes for myself and home decor things.  While earning my degree in Human Resource Sciences at Colorado State University, I took a painting class, and loved it.  Then years later I tried to figure out a way to combine my love of painted landscapes, and my love of sewing.  That's when I started to make my "Fiber Paintings".

My works have been displayed in several galleries and collections across the United States.  I have also won State and National awards for my fiber paintings and quilted arts.  Check in my Shop for my latest book and kits to make your own fiber paintings.
